Australia lost to India and South Africa before beating Sri Lanka to get off the mark at this tournament. Their pursuit of a record sixth Cricket World Cup title hasn't had a promising start, but a second successive win - this time over Pakistan - could rectify that push.
Australia had collected two totals under 200 before playing Sri Lanka - and even then required a mere 210 to win the match. Only one of their batters - Marnus Labuschagne - has reached 100 runs or more in three innings this tournament. David Warner is averaging 21.66 here and Steven Smith fell for a duck in the previous match.
While big questions hang over their batting resources, the Australians' bowling department has been relatively formidable this season. Leg-spinner Adam Zampa took four wickets for a Player of the Match performance against Sri Lanka. He, alongside Glenn Maxwell, will likely be the Aussies' only slow bowlers in this match as well.
Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood make for a solid seam combination - and have shared nine wickets this tournament. They could capitalise in conducive conditions in Bengaluru. Marcus Stoinis will likely play ahead of fellow all-rounder Cameron Green again - and Josh Inglis should retain his place ahead of fellow wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.

Pakistan started this World Cup well with wins over Sri Lanka and Netherlands, but have since slipped to defeat to India. They have plenty of expectation to justify, but are also prone to disappointing, especially when there is so much on the line in big matches against old rivals.
Hasan Ali has emerged as their chief wicket-taker in India so far. He was a late addition to the squad as a replacement for the injured Naseem Shah, but has evolved into a key member of the first-choice playing XI. Ali has taken seven wickets in three matches in this tournament - a prolific ratio in ODI cricket.
Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan should be at the fore of their batting ambition again. He is the leading run-scorer overall at this tournament, having collected 248 in three innings with scores of 68, 131 not out and 49. He also hit a century in a World Cup warm-up match against New Zealand.
Team director Mickey Arthur has all but insisted Pakistan be less timid with the bat. We might witness a corrected, aggressive approach - in part or entirely - against the Australians. With Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq at hand, too, this shouldn't be too tough a request from Arthur.
