Australia
Australia has not been very convincing in its title defense right now and there is a lot of room for improvement. After losing to New Zealand, Australia was in a spot of bother against Sri Lanka before Marcus Stoinis turned into the Hulk and smashed the bowling to all parts.
His inning made what could have been a tricky contest into a seemingly comfortable win. It is clear to see that Australia's batting is not at its best right now. David Warner is not getting runs, Aaron Finch cannot find the middle of the bat, and Mitchell Marsh is struggling.
Glenn Maxwell is short of runs as well. You would think that at least one of these players would strike form quickly but that has not happened so far. Tim David and Matthew Wade have also not really lit up the T20 World Cup as expected.
Australia's batting is far stronger than what Ireland has but it can be put under pressure.
The bowling lineup for Australia performed well against Sri Lanka and we expect them to get the job done against Ireland as well. Starc, Hazelwood, Cummins, and Zampa are all world-class experienced campaigners. This depth and quality in the bowling unit is Australia's biggest strength.

This could end up being brilliant, as we saw against England, or it could be disastrous, as is the more likely outcome. Ireland has some decent batters but it will take something very special for them to be able to compete against this Australian lineup.
Ireland's bowling is also not that great. They got away with some short-pitched bowling and some skilled swing bowling in the previous match but on the batting-friendly Gabba wicket, that is going to be near impossible.
Ireland has shown the world that it can compete with any team in fast and bouncy conditions but we just do not seem the repeating their heroics of the previous match.
