After suffering back-to-back losses at the start of the tournament, Andhra finally managed to turn things around in their last match by registering a huge win against Arunachal on Thursday.
Despite losing the openers, Srikar Bharat and Ashwin Hebbar in quick succession, Andhra was able to post a massive total of 228 runs thanks to an inspiring century by Shaik Rasheed. He put up a 106-run partnership with Hanuma Vihari for the 3rd wicket to set the stage for a big total.
Ricky Bhui, who scored a century earlier this season, played an excellent cameo to provide a late flourish. His performance will be the key for Andhra in this match. In addition, the team has some all-rounders including Karan Shinde and Manish Golamaru who add depth to the batting.
C Stephen bowled an excellent spell in the last match to pick up 3 wickets, taking his total tally for the season to 5 wickets. He will lead the seam attack alongside KV Sasikanth and Kavuri Saiteja, while Hemanth Reddy and Manish Golamaru will take care of the spin.
