Just like in the first match, India put up a clinical performance in the second match as well and has now taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match series.

Nitish Reddy put up a brilliant all-round performance on Wednesday, repaying the faith shown in him by the team selectors., scoring 74 runs and also picking up 2 wickets. He, along with the other all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag makes up for a strong middle-order. However, the form of the top order is a bit of a concern for the team.

While Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav have got off to good starts, they haven’t been able to continue and play big knocks.
