The batting has been a big letdown for the Capitals this season as except for David Warner, none of the top and middle-order batsmen have been able to score consistently. The likes of Phil Salt, Prithvi Shaw, Rilee Rossouw, and Sarfaraz Khan have failed to make a big impact on the proceedings so far.

One thing you should keep in mind if you are betting against DC is that their batting has a lot of potential for destruction. Salt and Rossouw have had a quiet IPL but on their day, they are extremely destructive players. One of these days they will start striking the ball well and a leave the team in front of themcompletely dumbfounded!

Axar Patel has shown good determination lower down the order and is the second-highest run-getter in the team, which speaks volumes about the failure of regular batsmen.
