Shivam Singh uplifts Dindigul’s top order with power-hitting flair. The class and quality of the opener was highlighted by a blistering 86 runs not out off 41 balls in the recent match against Madurai.

Wicketkeeper-batter Baba Indrajith has produced some noteworthy outings in domestic T20 cricket at state level. Indrajith has almost 550 runs with one half-century. Vimal Khumar and Maan Bafna add solidity down the batting order. Khumar has just under 400 TNPL runs and Bafna has just under 800 TNPL runs. Others like Aakaash Sharma and M Karthik Saran are yet to make a mark in 2025.

Ravichandran Ashwin combines leadership with valuable opening batting and off-spin. Ashwin fell agonizingly close to a half-century in his previous innings. The all-rounder raced to 49 runs off 29 balls against the Madurai Panthers.

Varun Chakravarthy has not been at his best before his previous TNPL bowling innings. He remains one of the better spin threats after taking one for 19 in four overs. 34-year-old Sandeep Warrier is the strike pacer. The star right-arm fast bowler has taken three wickets this season.

DT Chandrasekar and Ganeshan Periyaswamy both grabbed their opportunities with both hands against the Panthers. Both bowlers took two wickets each.

K Aashiq and Vijay Shankar have been in explosive batting touch. Both managed strike rates over 150 against Lyca Kovai Kings. Mokit Hariharan’s best impact this season was in his opening innings of the tournament when he smashed 46 runs. Baba Aparajith played a captain’s innings to lead his side over the line against Kovai.

The Chepauk skipper scored 48 runs unbeaten. Narayan Jagadeesan, with 20 half-centuries and one century in the TNPL, has already engrained himself as a tournament legend.

Swapnil Singh turned heads with a stunning 45 off just 14 balls and two wickets in the same match against Nellai. Abhishek Tanwar has gone from strength to strength this season with the ball. The medium pacer has taken two, three and four wickets in his respective TNPL matches for 2025. S Dinesh Raj brings a power game with a batting strike rate almost touching 160.

J Prem Kumar has had his best game of the tournament in his previous bowling innings. He took two wickets against Lyca Kovai Kings. M Silambarasan is another to add to the options of wicket-taking threats with three wickets in two bowling innings. Lokesh Raj has moved along swiftly with his bowling. The pacer has 16 wickets in his TNPL career.
