England continues its dominance against the West Indies at home. After whitewashing them in the ODI series, England made a positive start in the shortest format as well to claim an early advantage.
While the team would be mighty pleased with the win on Friday, there are a few things they will hope to do differently on Sunday. The batting, except for Jos Buttler, Jamie Smith, and Jacob Bethell was pretty ordinary. The likes of Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Tom Banton, and Will Jacks were dismissed for single-digit scores.
They will hope to put up a better performance this time around. Buttler continued with his incredible form in the recently concluded IPL to slam 96 runs from just 59 deliveries to steer his team to an above-par score. While he remains the vital cog in an otherwise inexperienced batting unit, the others need to step up.
Coming to the bowling, Liam Dawson, who was playing his first international match in more than two years, bowled brilliantly to pick up 4 wickets. He will again lead the spin department along with Adil Rashid.
The two seamers, Matthew Potts and Brydon Carse did a decent job with Potts picking up 2 wickets. However, they were expensive at times.
Jamie Smith, Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler (WK), Harry Brook (C), Jacob Bethell, Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, Adil Rashid, Brydon Carse, Matthew Potts, Tom Banton

The West Indies have a lot to ponder about before the start of this match. They have already lost the ODI series and another loss here will mean that they will leave England without any silverware.
The West Indies has produced some of the best T20 players who perform exceptionally well in T20 leagues around the world. However, when it comes to the international arena, the same players haven’t yielded the desired results.
Evin Lewis and Johnson Charles are likely to open the batting for the visitors. They gave the team a decent start on Friday and will look to do the same in this match as well. The middle order has a couple of experienced batsmen in Shai Hope and Rovman Powell, while the all-rounders Roston Chase, Sherfane Rutherford, and Andre Russell make up the rest of the line-up.
The visitors need at least a couple of batsmen to stay longer and play a big knock. The bowlers have been rather inconsistent as well. Alzarri Joseph and Jason Holder continue to lead the pace attack and will be supported by Russell and Romario Shepherd.
Gudakesh Motie went wicketless in the last match but was very economical. He remains the only specialist spinner.
Evin Lewis, Johnson Charles, Shai Hope (C & WK), Roston Chase, Sherfane Rutherford, Rovman Powell, Romario Shepherd, Andre Russell, Gudakesh Motie, Alzarri Joseph, Jason Holder
6 of the last 10 matches played here were won while batting first. In 6 of those games, the captain winning the toss opted to field first. However, batting first might be a better option.
The pitch at the Rose Bowl is usually good to bat on, especially during the first inning. There is a good amount of pace and bounce on offer and the batsmen can play their shots with ease. The average first-inning score here is around 175 and that is also a par score.
During the second innings, the pitch slows down a bit and the bounce is also a bit unpredictable. The weather in Southampton is likely to be clear and pleasant with temperatures around 25 degrees.
We are backing England to win this match. They have been clinical throughout the series and have a well-balanced squad at their disposal. The West Indies, despite having talented individuals, is yet to do well as a team.
